An energizing work at your own pace, way to start your day! This is a well-rounded workout where you will be doing basic step aerobic moves, choreographed to fun music for your aerobic conditioning. Muscle toning and endurance comes next, also to music, targeting the whole body. You finish up with a nice stretch ready to face what the day unfolds! This class is taught by Tammy Haake a Certified AFFA Group Exercise Instructor and has been an Instructor for more than 15 years.

Circuit Xtreme @ Petersen Family Wellness Center

Circuit training is a combination of high-intensity aerobics and resistance training designed to be easy to follow and target fat loss, muscle building and heart fitness. An exercise “circuit” is one completion of all prescribed exercises in the program. When one circuit is complete, one begins the first exercise again for another circuit. Traditionally, the time between exercises in circuit training is short, often with rapid movement to the next exercise. Melanie Pryor instructs this class.

Muscular, Strength, Range of Motion. Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercise designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activities for daily living. Hand held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a SilverSneakers ball are offered for resistance. A chair is used for seated and/or standing support. Certified SS Instructor, Jackie Alberti who also has her degree in Exercise Science.
