Part-time position (20 hours per week). Works Monday-Friday. Coordinates and implements marketing and advertising plans and programs for MMC. This includes, but is not limited to: marketing campaigns, creative developments and implementation for all media platforms including web, direct mail, print, radio, television, and social media. Will research, write and disseminate news releases, writing hospital publications including brochures, magazines, newsletters, and fliers.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, journalism, or equivalent required. Marketing/communication work experience preferably in a healthcare setting. Knowledge of media relations, including standard practice in the dissemination of information and coordination of story development. Excellent written and communications skills required. Time management and problem solving skills and demonstrated ability to apply these in various situations. Computer literacy, with demonstrated skills in Microsoft Office required.
